Hey everyone, I just came across this thread and had to jump in because I went through something super similar after stopping Depo! So, yes, you can absolutely still get pregnant even if your periods haven’t come back yet. Depo can mess with your cycle for months-sometimes up to a year for some folks-because it suppresses ovulation, but once you stop, your body might take time to “wake up” hormonally. That doesn’t mean you’re infertile; it just means tracking ovulation could be tricky without periods.
I remember freaking out too, no bleeding for like 6 months post-Depo, but I got pregnant right away after that (oops, but yay!). If you’re worried, maybe chat with your doc about fertility tests or using backup protection like condoms in the meantime. Anyone else have tips on how to tell if you’re ovulating without periods? This forum is gold-excited to learn more!
