So, is Vitamin D like the Beyoncé of vitamins or what? Every time I see my doctor, they look at my chart, give me the ol’ “your Vitamin D is low,” and then act like they’ve just diagnosed me with something rare and mysterious. Apparently, sunlight alone isn’t enough unless I plan on becoming a lizard and sunbathing 8 hours a day?
Seriously though—does anyone actually notice any diffrence when they start taking Vitamin D supplements, or is this just one more bottle for my medicine cabinet shrine? Has anyone actually sprouted superpowers (or just stronger bones)?
Also, side effects? If I wake up glowing in the dark or suddenly craving sardines, someone warn me now.
